About our founder.

KEEKS BY KIKI was founded by 23 year old Akilah (aka Kiki) in 2021. She had always known from her younger days that she wanted to be a designer and would start designing from the mere age of 12. 

 

At the age of 15 Akilah launched an online hair business named Kiki’s Hair, hoping to raise the funding needed for her youthful life. Little did she know that this experience would later be useful for her when she decided to move forward with her plans to launch KEEKS BY KIKI.

2021

In 2021, we launched with our debut collection featuring 3 different handbags - Sahara, Val & Cleo. 

 

2022

In 2022, we were featured in an article highlighting upcoming black owned fashion brands by the Metro UK!

Recently we launched our 6th Handbag, the Donna bag and are continuing to grow our collection.
