About our founder.

KEEKS BY KIKI was founded by 23-year- old Akilah, also known as Kiki, in 2021.

With a passion for design ignited as early as age 12, Kiki’s journey began with

creative sketches and a clear dream of becoming a designer.

 

By 15, she launched her first business, Kiki’s Hair, an online venture that helped

fund her youthful ambitions. This early entrepreneurial experience became

invaluable, paving the way for her true passion project: KEEKS BY KIKI. Today, her

brand brings together her love for design and her commitment to crafting quality

leather pieces that elevate everyday style.

2021

In 2021, we launched with our debut collection featuring 3 different handbags - Sahara, Val & Cleo. 

 

2022

In 2022, we were featured in an article highlighting upcoming black owned fashion brands by the Metro UK!

Recently we launched our 6th Handbag, the Donna bag and are continuing to grow our collection.
